The contest was help at Par Beach in some of the most crisp and clean conditions we have seen for s long time. The surf was in the 3 to 6 feet mark throughout the day.
Around 130 surfers battled it out in the epic waves, with a handy and pretty protected Southern corner for the groms to get some great heat totals. It was great to see the sun out from hiding and get some much needed vitamin D.
The day was massive starting the set-up at 6am and doing the final pull down around 3pm. It was great to see everyone land a hand on the day. The new Live Heats was used across both banks all day and went
The day was finished at the CHBC’s major sponsor’s venue “The Hoey Moey” where the presentation and meat raffles took place. It was a great turn out. Special mentions on the day were Chloe Blackett, Steve Deane, Amber Fletcher and taking her first win out Montana Hunt. Awesome effort everyone we look forward to the next one!
