Awesome course and it is FREE, this Thursday 9am to 12 noon. Only 10 spots left. Hey you never know you may just help save a life!

Designed to arm surfers and Ocean users with lifesaving skills that can save a surfer from trauma related injuries including shark attack, fin chop, propeller injury, severe lacerations and surf board related injuries.

SNSW are running a surf specific trauma/bleeding control course in Coffs Harbour in August as part of our partnership with the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) and the NSW Government in relation to their Shark Management Program. I would like invite you and key members of the club to attend this course and know that you will get a lot out of it.

This course itself is an overview of “bleeding control” in an aquatic environment, designed to arm surfers and Ocean users with lifesaving skills that can save a surfer from trauma related injuries including shark attack, fin chop, propeller injury, severe lacerations and surf board related injuries. Specialised training in this course will be run by TacMed Australia Military Medics who are leveraging training based off their experience from special operations in military and civilian settings to teach rapid lifesaving techniques that can be applied in a life and death situation!
