No one likes a Tosser, but really; whats the big deal about litter, plastic pollution and rubbish?
Coffs Harbour City Council in partnership with the NSW Environment Protection Authority and Coffs Harbour Boardriders invite you to a free screening of the documentary film Bag It.
The film follows “everyman” Jeb Berrier as he navigates our plastic world. Jeb is not a radical environmentalist, but an average guy who decides to take a closer look at our cultural love affair with plastics.
Jeb looks beyond plastic bags and discovers that virtually everything in modern society is made with plastic or contains potentially harmful chemical additives used in the plastic-making process and delves into what we can do about it. Today. Right now.
The screening concludes with a Q&A panel session around litter in the marine environment, waste avoidance and alternatives, local and regional initiatives being undertaken and what we can do as individuals to make a difference.
Each ticket includes a free snack provided by the Suf Club Restaurant and Bar and the fully licensed club bar will be open for the purchase of drinks – cash and eftpos accepted.
