Another perfect day at Macauleys for CHBC round 3 of our 2025 season.
The early heats on the higher tide had some beautifully shaped waves come through and saw our surfers dropping some big numbers giving some early morning confidence.
The White’s had a huge day out with Sage taking her first win for 2025 in the junior girls, Jarrah took the win in the 16 boys, Carls got the Open ladies and Jay Boy claimed the Coopers carton in the O45s.
12 Boys were absolutely on fire with Austin getting his first 10 and having a 19.40 heat total – heat of the day! Jetty scored a 2 turn combo with an 8 and new member Taylor Kidd made his first final.
The 16 Boys was close all day and so great to see Jarrah, Max, Tank & Hendo all having a close final.
Our 10 girls had a blast in the water with Lottie Ralston getting her first win of the year – all the girls came out smiling after an enjoyable heat
Opens was won by George over Tom, Creed and Hamish made another final in his first year of Opens.
Callum took the Coopers in the Open B, while in the quarters Jack Morrison got a cheeky 1 point win over dad Bretto.
Sara beat the boys this month in the Rippers division and was pretty stoked about that.
Our red tees were ready with a sweet little 60th anniversary logo on the sleeve – fresh ones to get us through the year. Great to have Steve join us all day in the tent.
Next round is May 18th – see you all then to do it again.
