Macauley’s is just awesome when the waves are pumping, car park is full, groms are frothing and the bacon is crispy. Is there a better place to hold a comp on the Coffs Coast?!?
We had a market vibe with Sage’s jewelry stall setting up again, and a big shout out to the groms on the mic, Toby & Hamish your voices were lovely and clear helping out Ricky & Steve throughout the day. Huge effort from Lexi on the BBQ with her army of volunteers both mini and big ones – we were all raving about the B+E Rolls and burgers!!
Great to see a little cameo in the judging tent from Klausy – good to see you mate and we all wish you well.
Strengthening our already very solid talent base, we had Sasha take out the open womens in her first year in our premier womens division, well done Sash! Mick Nolan is back in that winning form to take out the O45’s. The girls in our junior division are improving out of sight between each comp and a solid little rivalry between Harlow, Sage & Matilda who are now joined by Chloe, Amber & Alana – Great stuff girls!! Otis & Jet were real standouts in the U12 boys, these 2 have really been challenging themselves lately and their surfing shows.
