Our very first YETI was an absolute blast, joining us as a gold sponsor this year YETI have blown us away with the generosity they’ve shown.
There was literally bucketloads of YETI merch thrown around all day with our YETI dance off which saw the groms get down with some funky and weird dance moves on the sand, as well as the YETI sand building contest. Glen from YETI spent the whole day with us choosing winners, chatting to everyone and giving out prizes – thanks so much for epic day!
Up in the judging tent we had Richy Porta hanging out again after spending a few hours with us saturday evening running through his judging and pathways to CT surfing course. As an ex WSL head judge had some gems to share with us attending and everyone who judged under him sunday learnt something too.
The waves were pulsing all day offering opportunities for everyone, great decision by our contest directors to host our first YETI day at Diggers.
An amazing day was followed up by Glen from YETI joining us at the Hoey to ensure our lucky door prizes were overflowing with YETI and each finalist received a YETI something. A huge thanks to everyone who supported our YETI day, looking forward to next years edition!
