Waking up Sunday morning there was an immediate change in atmosphere. Sun was already up at 6 o’clock and it was decently warm. The birds were singing and there was a light breeze of wind. It was nice to finally see some 3ft swell as we had a really flat winter.
Our first heat got under at 7 o’clock along with our canteen. Plenty of cold drinks were sold on the day as the temperature rose.
Once again a big thanks to all of the volunteers on the day and the judges. Along with a big thanks to all of our sponsors that were on display for being able to make the day happen.
