What a ripper of a day it was out at Diggers Beach, with decent waves rolling through across two banks for our latest comp day. It was a great surprise too, given the week leading up to it wasn’t shaping up anywhere near as good. A big crew signed up to compete and the turnout gave the whole beach a great vibe from start to finish.
None of it happens without our volunteers though, and once again they came up trumps. From the crew manning the BBQ, to the judges keeping score, our MC’s keeping everyone entertained, and the set up and pack down teams working either end of the day, everyone chipped in to make it a ripper of an event.
