Each year\, the ABB pits the best boardrider clubs from each state against one another in an epic surfing battle that culminates in a world-renowned Grand Final where Australia’s best boardrider club is decided. \nThe first Grand Final on the Gold Coast will be held 9-10 March 2024. With the likes of Joel Parkinson\, Danny Wills\, Jay Thompson\, Josh Kerr\, Ace Buchan\, Stephanie Gilmore\, Tyler & Owen Wright and Sophie McCulloch having competed in previous years\, Burleigh Heads will be the place to be for surfing fans around the country in March next year.

If you have never been in one before the format is completely different.\nEvery surfer gets put into a draw where a 5 year old could be up against SECRET GUEST\, Emil Burton and Rosie Smart in one heat. Once all the first round is done the top two go in round A and the bottom 2 in round B and these divisions surf off until there is a winner in each division.
